Hourly4-hour minimum

Operator-assisted equipment is billed by the hour with a four-hour minimum.

Daily9-hour workday

7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch.

Weekly5 working days

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., including lunch.

Monthly20 working days

Standard weekday schedule. Special terms appear per item.

Delivery by area

Applies only to crane services, boom truck services, telehandler services and telehandler rentals. Weekly and monthly delivery is waived. All tool rentals are pickup only.

Operator overtime

More than 45 hours worked per week is considered overtime. Work outside the standard rental schedule is charged at the current term rate plus CI$25.00 per operator/hour. Public Holidays are charged at the current term rate plus CI$50.00 per operator/hour.

Cayman Crane Company Rental & Service Terms

  1. Request and acceptance. This checkout submits a booking request only. Equipment, operators and dates are not reserved until Cayman Crane Company Ltd. (“CCC”) issues written acceptance.
  2. Rates. Rates shown are estimates based on the selected rental term and quantity. The four-hour minimum applies to hourly crane and boom-truck bookings. Delivery charges apply only to eligible crane, boom truck and telehandler bookings. All tool rentals are pickup only. Final charges may also include overtime, fuel, rigging, standby time, permits, damage, cleaning and other agreed costs.
  3. Payment. Any online payment is a deposit or authorization toward the final approved booking and does not itself confirm availability. The customer authorizes CCC to invoice approved additional charges. Deposits are applied to the final invoice.
  4. Site conditions. The customer must provide safe and lawful access, adequate working space, suitable ground bearing capacity, accurate load information, required permits and unobstructed setup areas. CCC may stop or refuse work it considers unsafe.
  5. Operations and safety. CCC retains operational control of its equipment and personnel. The customer and all site personnel must follow the operator’s and lift supervisor’s safety directions and remain clear of restricted areas.
  6. Customer care of rental equipment. For bare rentals and accessories, the customer is responsible for secure storage, normal daily care and returning the equipment in the condition received, ordinary wear excepted. Loss, theft, misuse and avoidable damage may be charged to the customer.
  7. Changes and cancellation. Schedule changes depend on availability. Mobilization, special-order, permit, labor and cancellation costs already incurred may be charged. Weather and unsafe conditions may require rescheduling.
  8. Liability. To the extent permitted by Cayman Islands law, the customer is responsible for loss or damage caused by inaccurate information, unsafe site conditions, unauthorized use or failure to follow instructions. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss except where law does not allow exclusion.
  9. Insurance and authorization. The customer confirms that it is authorized to place this request and will maintain insurance reasonably appropriate to the work. CCC may request identification, a signed credit application, proof of insurance or additional security before acceptance.
  10. Entire booking. CCC’s written quotation or booking confirmation, these terms and any project-specific lift plan form the agreement. Project-specific written terms prevail if inconsistent.
